Patient Safety

Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey

Patient Safety is a high priority at the University Medical Center at Princeton. To show our commitment to safety we publicly report our clinical processes to the Leapfrog Group by completing their Patient Safety survey. The Leapfrog Hospital Quality and Safety Survey provides consumers and purchasers of healthcare with information they need to make informed healthcare choices and promote transparency within health care organizations.

We pride ourselves on adhering to a higher standard of patient safety and quality by implementing the Leapfrog ‘leaps' and the National Quality Forums' 30 Safe Practices. Evidence shows that the implementation of these Safe Practices can work to reduce or prevent adverse events and medical errors.
